Right not to be harassed with unreasonably frequent visits

Your landlord (or agent) and their representatives do not have unfettered access to your property during your tenancy. Their visits should be for a genuine purpose and not too frequent that it impacts on the peaceful enjoyment of your home.

If they are visiting too frequently, this may amount to harassment. You can ask them to refrain from doing so, seek an injunction to stop them and claim compensation from them in some cases. Click ‘enforce this right’ for our simple guide on how.
